We’re All Connected But We’re Not

In this digital age, I’ve found that we’re the most connected generation to any and everything. Yet, we are the most disconnected we’ve ever been.

In the blink of an eye, you can find yourself digitally across the country with your favorite celebs, virtually or cooking it up with chef whomever but what I’ve found to be disheartening is that as soon as the character of the person is brought into question or even a recognition of the sleaziest or controversial of behaviors, you’re no longer welcomed in their world.

You can’t have the good without the bad but one of life’s biggest teachers is in choosing what to share and what to withhold from those whom you adore. The best advice that I could ever give is — If you don’t want people to know then don’t share it. Simple as that.

To expect someone who may very well be trying to escape a world a little bit harsher than reality *to bear another’s secrets or bad behaviors, places a huge burden on their shoulders. We all have our own problems.
