Things Happening In My Mind…
*Updated following review of YOU Season 3
It’s almost been two weeks since my last post so I wanted to pop in with a few of my recent thoughts…

I tried to watch the first few episodes of S1 again, since it was originally published on Netflix a few years ago and I couldn’t believe that I sat through both S1 and S2, at the peak of the pandemic without a flinch. Fast forward, a year or so later and I am completely blown away at how desensitized we as human beings are.
Don’t get me wrong, there are far more tale tale signs that we are all desensitized but the show YOU is very concerning, especially after processing the content and the current state of the world (and people).
This post isn’t anything about anyone specific, maybe my stalkers because I have been reviewing some of my new followers and questioning whether they are real people but it’s life.
You do you and I’ma continue to notate strange occurrences because shows like YOU exist because of people who hide behind screen names and fake pages while people like me have to be very cautious about what we do and what we put out.
I’m not a really impressionable person like most people. I know how to think for myself. *I’m also a writer, fictional writer on my down time but I have dealt with a lot of individuals who don’t know how to think for themselves *or decipher a delusional state of mind or reality in general.
I honestly feel like this type of show shouldn’t exist because of poor souls (from small towns or no exposure to the world) who don’t know any better who may think this fictional content is to be reproduced in real life or that they have to perform in a way to obtain the object of their affections.
These are just a few of the thoughts going on in my mind…
*I have since watched S3 of YOU and I don’t know what to think. They have set the tone for S4 oversees, killed off the wife and gave the baby away — Fix it Jesus! The latest season of YOU was a little off tbh. It felt a little commercial or like they were scheduling to insert commercials of some sort. I don’t know what I would do or anyone else, if Joe was televised… He’s already behind a metered subscription. I don’t think the world isn’t completely ready.
