I’ve talked about letting go so many different ways in the past. I’ve dealt with the subject in many different context over the years but the overall point, whether it be from a relationship, a job, ambitions, an environment, loss (of any kind) or beyond — you have to know when to let go.

“…there are certain aspects of life that we have no control over.”

Of course, we’ve all fought for things to work beyond our control but there are certain aspects of life that we have no control over. So, you failed a test recently and your whole life is on hold? Why? There’s nothing you can do about it, in that moment. You can either prepare for when you want to attempt the test again, if allowed or move on. And please know, a test can come in any form of life.

Relationships end, jobs change, our bodies don’t react the same year after year, diet after diet, kid after kid (for those moms) but you were who you were in that moment, to learn the lessons that needed to be learned at that time. None of us can go back and change the past. None of us can make people see us as who we are or may be destined to be, if they aren’t in a position to receive it.

“Are you ready for the life you didn’t know existed?”

At some point, you have to make a decision to move forward with your life and write a story that is free from your failures, free from trying to prove to those from your past that you are worthy, free from distractions that are hindering you in the present, free from delusion and despair, free from who didn’t want you or what didn’t work.

Are you ready for the life you didn’t know existed? If so, you will have to make a decision to let go of who you thought you were or who didn’t want what you had to offer or even what didn’t work out. It may be what is holding you back.
